<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a seat belt control device capable of correctly detecting an overheated state of a driving circuit. <P>SOLUTION: A pretensioner controller 9 for operating a first pretensioner mechanism 2c when predicting a collision of an obstacle with a vehicle V by a PCS/ACC controller 8 comprises a driving circuit 91a for controlling the power supplied from a DC power source 94 and supplying the power to a DC motor 2e, and a temperature sensing type FET 91b for interrupting the power supply from the DC power source 94 when detecting an overheated state of the driving circuit 91a. The checking current is supplied from the driving circuit 91a to the DC motor 2e after the operation of the first pretensioner mechanism 2c is ended.
