<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wastewater treatment system which recovers metal ions difficult to electrodeposit in an aqueous solution system as a metal alone and is enhanced in recycleability. <P>SOLUTION: The wastewater treatment system is equipped with a metal ion removing tank 11 fo reserving an ion liquid 17 as the electrolyte and removing metal ions, the cathode 16 immersed in an ion liquid 17 and the anodes 13a and 13b in an electrical continuity to the cathode 16 and the metal ions contained in wastewater are moved within the ion liquid 17 to reduce the metal ions by a reduction reaction at the position of the cathode 16 to recover a metal. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
