BIAXIALLY ORIENTED POLYPROPYLENE FILM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a biaxally oriented polypropylene film which exhibits excellent high withstand voltage properties and safety even under an atmosphere of such a high temperature as 80°C or higher. SOLUTION: The polypropylene film which is biaxally oriented is made of a polypropylene resin mainly composed of propylene. At least one face of the surface has a base layer having pearskin-like unevenness. The ten-point average roughness (Rz) of the surface is 0.50-1.50μm and the surface gloss is 90-135%.
