PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce swelling of an impeller to a direction narrowing a space between a casing and impeller upper and lower surfaces. SOLUTION: A resin impeller 20 of the fuel pump comprises a disk shaped core member 21 connected to a shaft 78, and an outer peripheral member 22 having a blade channel group. The core member 21 is formed by a resin material including glass fiber orientated to an impeller axis direction, and the outer peripheral member 22 is installed afterwards to the core member 21 by insert molding. Swelling of the core member 21 to the impeller axis direction is restrained by the glass fiber, and thereby, the space between the impeller 20 and the casing can be set to be small, and efficiency of the pump can be enhanced.
