The grid (10) has two twists (14, 15), a deformation and two antennas, where natural frequencies of the twists, the deformation and the antennas are adjusted to reflect, absorb, guide or radiate impinging microwaves. The frequency and/or spatial arrangement of the twists, the deformation and the antennas are changed based on microwave length, cooking area dimension, size, weight, number and/or arrangement of the product in the cooking area and cooking program. An independent claim is also included for a sensor for determining cooked product parameters.
