<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To process an aerial image before landing of an aircraft, in a system for detecting building shape change, based on the aerial image photographed by the aircraft. <P>SOLUTION: An edge is extracted (S22), relative to a photographed image center-projected by the airplane 2, as it is, and the result is transmitted by radio to a ground base station 6. The ground base station 6 extracts a line segment from the edge and determines a building shape in the photographed image. The ground base station 6, however, generates a projection image of the building, determined by center-projecting existing three-dimensional data from the flying position of the airplane 2, and matches it with the building shape acquired from the photographed image (S28). It is determined whether the building shape has changed from the point of registration time of the existing three-dimensional data, according to the similarity between both images determined by matching. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
