<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image analysis apparatus improving the detection accuracy of intraluminal abnormal tissue, and an image analysis method. <P>SOLUTION: A CPU performs processing for each label value of an image 25 made into thin lines by performing polyp candidate detection processing in a step S4, superimposes a processing result on a polyp candidate image 26, and thus generates a polyp candidate labeling image for which a polyp candidate edge is labeled. Then, by displaying the polyp candidate labeling image for which the polyp candidate image 26 is superimposed on a source image 22 on a display, it is made possible to easily confirm a polyp candidate position on the image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
