<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a paper container which has a superior gas barrier property against oxygen, etc., prevents the oxidation and deterioration of contents caused by residual oxygen in a head space in the container and dissolved oxygen contained in the contents to provide superior preservability, can be manufactured at a relatively low manufacturing cost, and is adapted to an environment. <P>SOLUTION: A laminated material is manufactured by stacking a thermoplastic resin layer, a paper layer, a gas barrier layer, an adhesive resin layer containing an oxygen absorber, and a thermoplastic resin layer, or stacking the thermoplastic resin layer, the paper layer, a thermoplastic resin layer, an adhesive resin layer containing an oxygen absorber, the gas barrier layer, the adhesive resin layer containing the oxygen absorber, and the thermoplastic resin layer in an increasing order from the outer surface side.
