PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an uncrosslinked polyethylene-based foamed sheet for molding, having excellent flexibility and cushioning property and a beautiful appearance while keeping sufficient thermoformability and strength of molding and suitably useful for a container of soft vegetables and fruits, especially strawberries, etc. SOLUTION: The uncrosslinked polyethylene-based foamed sheet for molding is formed from a polyethylene-based resin having a melt index of≥0.5 g/10 minutes and≤2.0 g/10 minutes and a crystallization temperature of≤98°C and has a density of≥0.04 g/cm<SP>3</SP>and≤0.08 g/cm<SP>3</SP>and thickness of≥1.5 mm and≤5.0 mm.
