PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an e-mail server, e-mail transmitting device, and program in which more improvement in convenience can be attained. SOLUTION: The e-mail server comprises a reception rejection function for rejecting the reception of an e-mail exceeding predetermined capacitance and when information (e.g., tag) requesting that the reception is not to be rejected even when exceeding the predetermined capacitance, is set to a mail header in a received e-mail, the e-mail is temporarily stored in a mail storage section 419 without rejecting the reception. When there is a distribution request from a destination of the e-mail, regarding the mail to which the tag is set, the e-mail is distributed to the destination when it meets predetermined conditions such as when there is a response permitting distribution to an acknowledgement mail transmitted to the destination by an acknowledgement mail transmission section 415, for example.
