PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a connection structure for easily connecting metal fittings with a string. SOLUTION: The metal fittings and string connection structure include a clamp member 2 mounted on the string 1 and having at least two openable/closable clamp pawls 3, 3, and a fitting part 11 provided on the metal fittings 10 for fitting the clamp member 2. In mounting the clamp member 2 on the string 1, the clamp member 2 is fitted to the fitting part 11 to close at least two clamp pawls 3, 3 and clamp the string 1 between the clamp pawls 3, 3. The fitting part 11 has a locking portion 15 for locking part of the clamp member 2 to prevent the clamp member 2 from coming off the fitting part 11. This maintains a stable condition of connecting the metal fittings 10 and the string 1 via the clamp member 2 for a long period. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
