PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a recording/reproducing device capable of reducing the time and labor of user's program title arrangement. SOLUTION: This recording/reproducing device is characterized by generating folders where parts of the title names are set as folder names when there are a plurality of programs where parts of the title names of recorded programs overlap each other while there are no files where parts of the title names overlap each other.
