PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable a label to be positively pressed against an item without causing the folding of the extremity end of the label by a pressing member and label sticking to be positively carried out. SOLUTION: This label sticking device is operated for sticking a label L to an item W transferred by a conveyor C, wherein there is provided a chucking member 10 for chucking the supplied label L by the suction of air, blowing the chucked label L against the item W by the injection of air and sticking it to the item. When the chucking member 10 chucks the label L, there is provided a pressing member 20 stored in the chucking member 10 when the chucking member 10 adsorbs the label L and constituted of a brush 21 protruded from the adsorption surface 12 of the chucking member 10 toward the item W to press the label L against the item W when the chucking member 10 blows the label L against the item W and sticks it to the item. There is provided a driving part 30 for storing and protruding the pressing member 20 against the chucking member 10 and holding the protruded state for a predetermined time.
