PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slot machine which makes a player more interested in a game and keep the interest by making the player recognize the change of the display mode of a pattern image row so as to be more interested in the pattern image row. SOLUTION: The slot machine comprises: a reel control means which performs control to start rotation of all the reels in the case of receiving a start signal and which performs stop control of a corresponding reel in the case of receiving a reel stop signal; and an image control means which displays a prescribed number of pattern image row in which two or more pattern images are arranged in a prescribed array. When the rotation of all the reels is started, all the pattern image row are turned from still display to variable display. When a reel stops, a pattern image row corresponding to the reel is turned from the variable display to the still display. When the pattern image row is turned from the still display to the variable display, the display mode of the pattern image row is changed from a basic display mode to a special display mode.
