PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water paint composition which can exhibit superior antibacterial performance even in portions of lavatory, bathroom, toilet and the like where moisture is much and lighting is insufficient. SOLUTION: The water paint composition contains a synthetic resin emulsion (a), an organosiloxane compound (b) having an amino group and a silver-based antibacterial agent (c), that is the water paint composition which contains 1-100 pts.wt. of the organosiloxane compound (b) and 0.01-5 pts.wt. of the silver-based antibacterial agent, to 100 pts.wt. of the solid content of the synthetic resin emulsion (a).
