FIELD: oil production, particularly to develop non-uniform oil reservoir to limit water inflow in production wells and to increase oil recovery. ^ SUBSTANCE: method involves injecting mixture including polyacrylamide and aqueous biological surfactant solution in reservoir through injection well; forcing the mix in reservoir with fresh water and performing time delay for 24 hours. Mixture additionally has sodium hydroxide.
