The Gas/Water Jet Generator converts the energy of relatively large volume, low pressure flowing gas into electric power. It is composed of two parallel plates. One of the plates holds a shaft; the other has a large central opening. Between these plates a multiple of cavities are created. These cavities are open toward the center of the unit and also open toward the periphery of the plates as nozzles. The unit is submerged in water a few inches deep. Gas is released at the central opening sequentially into the cavities. Gas will displace water from cavities toward the nozzles creating water jet effect which brings the unit into rotation. Torque is converted into electric power by a generator. As the unit rotates cavities refill with water during one rotatio n so the jet effect will be continuous. The unit is also capable to increase the pressure of the gas input.
