<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photodetecting module capable of being used for remote control and for AWB control without increasing the number of external terminals and undesired expansion of a circuit scale, and to provide an imaging apparatus using it. <P>SOLUTION: The photodetecting module A comprises a single photodetecting element PD having a peak sensitivity wavelength in a near infrared region, a photodetecting lens for focusing incident light to the photodetecting element PD (not shown), a signal processing circuit A21 for detecting a logic signal SL1 for remote control from an output signal of the photodetecting element PD, a lead T1 for extracting the logic signal SL1, and a lead T3 for directly deriving the output signal of the photodetecting element PD as an analog signal SA for automatic white balance control. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
