PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a technology for performing the arrangement or retrieval of an electronic album prepared by a printing device by a simple method.

SOLUTION: This printing device is provided with an album generation part for generating an electronic album including one or more images; a code generation part for generating a code for machine reading for specifying an electronic album; and an index card printing part for printing a card on which at least a code for machine reading is described as the index card of an electronic album.
