<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To simplify processing in forming a structure different in cell gaps between a reflective display area and a transmissive display area and to further prevent occurrence of coloring when the structure different in the cell gaps is formed in a transflective electrooptic device. <P>SOLUTION: A liquid crystal device is constituted by holding a liquid crystal between a pair of substrates 7a, 8a, and has a plurality of sub pixels D having the transmissive display areas T and the reflective display areas R, and is provided with: a first coloring film 22 which is provided to the transmissive display areas T and the reflective display areas R; a second coloring film 23 which is provided to the reflective display area R on a first coloring film 22 and has a color different from that of the first coloring film 22; and an optical reflection film 24 which is provided to the second coloring film 23. In the liquid crystal display device, the liquid crystal reflects the second coloring film 23 and thickness t0 in the reflective display area R is thinner than the thickness t1 in the transmissive display area. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
