<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the plate thickness accuracy of a fuel cell separator. <P>SOLUTION: A method for producing the fuel cell separator includes a process S100 for forming an injection cavity between a fixed mold and a movable mold facing the fixed mold, an injection process S102 for injecting a molding material into the injection cavity, a process S104 for relatively changing the inclination of the movable mold in relation to the fixed mold, and a process S106 in which the movable mold is moved horizontally to approach the fixed mold to compress the molding material in order to form a molding based on the shape of a prescribed product cavity. In the process S100 for forming the injection cavity, the distance between the lower part of the fixed mold and the lower part of the movable mold is controlled to be wider than the distance in the horizontal direction between the upper part of the fixed mold and the upper part of the movable mold. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
