PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter substrate for organic EL electroluminescent elements which can be applied to an organic EL display device having a white light emitting layer and is excellent in balance of color properties of three primary colors. SOLUTION: The color filter substrate for organic EL elements comprises a transparent substrate, a colored layer patterned on the transparent substrate with a red colored, green colored and blue colored parts, and a color conversion layer which has at least red color conversion part formed on the red colored part. The area of the red color conversion part is larger than those of green color conversion part formed on the green colored part and blue color conversion part formed on the blue colored part.
