PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system capable of setting questions more interest for users. SOLUTION: The navigation system which performs a question setting operation of presenting a prescribed question, receiving an answer to the question, and presenting a correct/incorrect judgement result for the answer includes a question acquisition means (step 31) for acquiring the data of the provided question related to the position information as the data of the prescribed question. The navigation device further includes a detection means for detecting, based on current position information and map data for navigation, the device within a prescribed range from each predetermined landmark in the map data and, every time the detection is carried out by the detection means, the operation of acquiring the question data and the question setting is performed.
