<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a relay connector containing a pair of housings, a pair of actuators and terminals commonly fitted on each of the housings, made enabled to independently operate each actuator, with a simple structure of each member, easily manufacture each member, easily assemble members with high mass productivity, connect flat cables individually, and improve workability of a connecting operation. <P>SOLUTION: The relay connector contains a pair of housings equipped with an insertion port for inserting a flat cable, a terminal commonly filled in each housing and equipped with a contact piece electrically connecting to a conductive wire of the flat cable, and a pair of actuators attached on each housing free in changing posture between a first position to enable insertion of the flat cable and a second position pressing the inserted flat cable onto the contact piece. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
