<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a freely expandable sprawl wire for fishing, enabling a fishing bait to be moved easily to enable the excellent attracting effects to be exhibited thereby, and capable of effectively preventing a fishline from loosening or coiling even if rapid change of tide occurs; and to provide a device for fishing having the sprawl wire. <P>SOLUTION: The freely expandable sprawl wire of A to G for the fishing is obtained by installing a linking part 8 for linking the fishline 20 in one terminal side of a freely expandable elastic member 1, and a stopper 9 for preventing the elastic member 1 from being buckled by being excessively elongated in the other terminal side.
