CHIP-TYPE ALUMINUM ELECTROLYTIC CAPACITOR AND ITS MANUFACTURING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an aluminum electrolytic capacitor and its manufacturing method in which the scattering or overflowing of an electrolytic solution for driving does not occur, when a capacitor element is inserted into a metal case containing the electrolytic solution for drive. SOLUTION: The chip-type aluminum electrolyte capacitor includes a capacitor element 11 having a pair of external lead wire 14, a metal case 12 of bottomed cylindrical shape in which the capacitor element 11 is contained together with an electrolytic solution 16, a seal body 13 which seals the metal case 12 passing through the one pair of external lead wire 14, and an insulated terminal board mounted so as to contact the seal body 13. The outer diameter of the capacitor element 11 is formed smaller by 20%-40% than the inner diameter of the metal case 12. COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
