PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and low-profile capacitor unit having high reliability. SOLUTION: The capacitor unit comprises two lead wires 2 provided on one end surface of each capacitor 1, bent so that the tips form a right angle in a length direction of the capacitor 1 to make the polarities the same direction, and inserted in lead wire holes provided on a circuit board 3; a base section 15 in which a cylindrical holding section 5 for holding the end side of the capacitor 1 and a circuit board fixing section 16 for fixing the circuit board 3 are integrally formed; and a case 20 for containing the circuit board 3. The end side of the capacitor 1 is held by a holding portion 5, the circuit board 3 is fixed on the circuit board fixing potion 16, and the base section 15 is inserted into the case 20 from the circuit board 3 side in a state when the circuit board 3 is connected to each lead wire 2, thereby forming the capacitor unit.
