PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small and low-profile capacitor unit excellent in productivity. SOLUTION: The capacitor unit and its manufacturing method are configured in such a way that capacitor connection pins 11 are vertically soldered to a circuit board 3, moisture resistant agents are formed on both surfaces of the circuit board 3, and then, the capacitor 1 is electrically connected so as to form it at right angles to the length direction of the capacitor connection pins 11 on the upper space of the circuit board 3. In this way, the possibility of adhesion of the moisture resistant agents to the capacitor 1 is eliminated, easy formation thereof on both surfaces of the circuit board 3 can improve productivity, and mounting the capacitor 1 in a horizontal direction on the upper space for the circuit board 3 can materialize the small and low-profile capacitor unit.
