PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple direction input device in which an arbitrary direction input can be made and a wrong input can be avoided. SOLUTION: An elastic member 14 of the multiple direction input device 1 is provided with: a first pushing part 15 on another surface of a part where a first key 18 is positioned; a second pushing part 16 on positions in at least four directions of another surface of a part where a second key 19 is positioned; a third pushing part 17 on positions in at least four directions of another surface of a part where a second key 20 is positioned; a first switch part 5 provided in a position facing the first pushing part 15; a distortion detecting sensor 12 provided in a position facing the third pushing part 17; and a second switching part 6 provided in a position facing the third pushing part 17.
