PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To retrieve a musical piece based on an image, collecting images to musical pieces widely from users. SOLUTION: A server device collects words showing the image of the musical piece from a display terminal units used by users and creates a database 20 for retrieval. In the database 20 for retrieval, the word showing the image to the musical piece increases continously, since the word collected from the user is registered at any time. On the other hand, when the musical piece is retrieved, it can search the database with the word showing the image to the musical piece. Even if the user does not remember a title name and a composer name of the musical piece, it becomes possible to retrieve the music piece with the word showing the image based on a subject.
