PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a house collapse prediction method and system for predicting the risk of house collapse by accumulation of snow in a heavy snowfall area and transmitting the prediction result to a monitoring center in a remote place so that warning can be given or other countermeasures can be taken. SOLUTION: Snowing states or roof loads on roof are measured by sensor information acquired by sensors 40A and 40B mounted on selected houses 20A and 20B in the area, and compared with load resistances of the houses. The result is displayed on a display part 54 provided in a terminal 50 and also transmitted to the monitoring center 30 provided in a security company or a local government through a transmitting and receiving part 53. In the monitoring center 30, house collapse prediction in the area including a house 20C having no sensor is performed based on the sensor information received by a transmitting and receiving part 31 or house information such as position information to give a warning, and the necessity of snow removing or thawing work is also determined.
