PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for preventing back flow, in an integrating flow meter having a simple structure and an inexpensive cost. SOLUTION: The device 1 for preventing a back flow provided in an intermediate section between a gas pipe 80 connecting a gas supply and a gas consumption, comprises: a governor body 10, provided in a communication pipe 84 in the stream upper than the position of a root meter for integrating to indicate a gas flow rate; and a pilot pipe 60 for connecting the communication pipe 84 in the stream lower than the governor body 10 and its pressure control chamber 11. A closure 20, having a slit 21 for gas distribution, is provided in the governor body 10, and a sleeve 30 for opening and shutting the slit 21 is provided on the circumference of the closure 20. The sleeve 30 formed with rubber is elastically deformable, and has at least a withstanding pressure of 0.3 MPa and operates a low differential pressure (approximately 10 kPa).
