PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an iontophoresis apparatus which gives medicinal ions with high efficiency or at a high speed, or to provide an iontophoresis apparatus which is excellent in terms of the safety and keeps an adhesiveness and a conductivity between a non-working side electrode structure and a living skin easily in an excellent manner. SOLUTION: In the iontophoresis apparatus equipped with a first electrolyte retaining part 14 for retaining an electrolysis solution, a first ion-exchange membrane 15 of a first polarity placed on the underside of the first electrolyte retaining part, and a first electrode for applying a voltage of the first polarity to the first electrolyte retaining part; a first skin contact membrane 16 made of vinylon is disposed on the underside of the first ion-exchange membrane.
