The archiving pocket (1) has one or more pockets (2) for holding sheet-form objects and which at least on one side basically consist of fibrous, gas-permeable material, so that air between the insides of the pockets and the environment is exchangeable through the material. The material may be paper with a thickness of 60 to 120 grams per square meter. The pockets are formed from a base sheet and a cover sheet which are adhesively interconnected, wherein the adhesive has a pH within the region of 7 to 8 in the bonded state. Independent claims are included for the following: (1) an arrangement for archiving with at least one archiving pocket, with at least one intermediate sheet which lies flat on the pocket and is provided with an agent which is suitable for trapping and/or neutralizing substances which escape from the objects in the pocket; and (2) a one-piece blank for producing an archiving pocket.
