PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a polyimide-based hybrid material that advantageously secures transparency in spite of containing a large amount of an inorganic oxide and has an excellent film-forming property. SOLUTION: The objective multibranched polyimide-based hybrid material is obtained by using a mixture of a multibranched polyamic acid prepared by reacting an aromatic tetracarboxylic acid dianhydride with an aromatic triamine and an inorganic oxide fine particle and imidating the multibranched polyamic acid in the mixture.
