摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a positive charging monolayer electrophotographic photoreceptor having excellent electric characteristics and image characteristics even in high temperature and high humidity/low temperature and low humidity environments during repeated use by optimizing the particle size of titanium oxide used for a subbing layer. SOLUTION: In the electrophotographic photoreceptor, a single photosensitive layer containing a charge generating agent, a hole transporting agent, an electron transporting agent and a binder resin is formed on a conductive substrate via the subbing layer. The subbing layer comprises at least titanium oxide fine particles and a binder resin, wherein the titanium oxide fine particles are subjected to surface treatment with alumina and silica and have a number average primary particle size of 20 nm or less.
