PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controlling device which can suppress the generation of a fraudulence to a harness used for the connection between the controlling devices of a game machine. SOLUTION: This controlling device for the game machine has a plurality of controlling circuit boards which control game controlling motions by cooperating with each other, and the harness which connects the controlling circuit boards with each other. The controlling device for the game machine also has a through hole member, a sensing sensor, and a judging means. In this case, the through hole member has a plurality of through holes through which the harness can penetrate. The sensing sensor forms a sensing output which indicates the presence/absence of the penetration of the harness through each through hole. The judging means judges the penetrating state of the harness to the through hole member in response to the output of the sensing sensor while corresponding to the location of the through hole through which the harness has penetrated.
