PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To realize a technique capable of well drying ink delivered on a recording medium by an inkjet system. SOLUTION: An inkjet recording apparatus 100 performing recording by delivering the ink on the recording medium, comprises recording heads 104K-104Y delivering the inks comprising coloring materials with absorbing power in an ultraviolet region, and a drying means for irradiating the ink delivered on the recording medium with a light and drying it. The drying means includes at least one LED emitting light by a wave length in the ultraviolet region, and an optical member focusing the light emitted by the LED into a line-like shape and irradiating the recording medium with it.
