PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To avoid condensation causing inclusion of moisture which is not desired by equipment of a simple constitution, in kneading/defoaming equipment having a temperature regulating function and a kneading/defoaming method. SOLUTION: The kneading/defoaming equipment comprises a container holder 4 for holding and fixing a container 5 containing a material to be kneaded, a rotation mechanism 3 for causing the container holder 4 to rotate on its axis and an orbitary mechanism 2 for causing the rotation mechanism 3 to make an orbital motion, all of which are housed in a closed casing 1. The equipment further includes a cooling system 6 for blowing a cooling gas 7 into the closed casing 1, a temperature sensor 8 for measuring the temperature of the container 5 or the container holder 4 and a temperature/humidity sensor 9 for measuring the temperature/humidity inside the closed casing 1.
