AUTHORISATION OF DISCONNECTION BETWEEN A USER TERMINAL AND AN ACCESS POINT IN A WIRELESS LOCAL AREA NETWORK

The invention relates to an entity able to authorise the disconnection of an entity in a wireless network (RSF), one of said entities consisting of a terminal for generating and storing a first number (RNDI) and transmitting it to the other entity separate from the terminal, said other entity storing the first number. The invention is characterised in that the entity comprises: a determination means for determining a second number (NBI) deducted from the stored first number by a pre-determined function (FI), a comparison means (MVTE, MVAP) for comparing the second number (NBI) deducted from the first number stored by the determination means, following the reception of a disconnection request (RQDAS, RQDAU) comprising another second number (NBI') deducted from the stored first number by the pre-determined function, with the second number extracted from the disconnection request, in order to authorise the disconnection of the entity when the second number (NBI) and the other second number (NBI') are identical.
