<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photosensitive composition which exhibits high sensitivity when a blue-violet laser exposure system is used, and which reduces environmental impacts when discarded, and to provide a photosensitive film, a permanent pattern forming method using the photosensitive composition, and a printed circuit board on which a permanent pattern is formed by the permanent pattern forming method. <P>SOLUTION: The photosensitive composition contains an alkali-soluble photosensitive resin, a polymerizable compound, a photoinitiator or a photoinitiator compound, a heat crosslinkable resin and a pigment, wherein the colorant contains at least any one of a triarylcarbonium pigment which takes on a single hue and contains no halogen atom, a metal complex compound which takes on the same hue as the above hue and has a halogen atom content in one molecule being ≤15 mass%, and a halogenated phthalocyanine compound which takes on the same hue as the above hue and has a halogen atom content in one molecule being ≤40 mass%.
