<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a water tank for humidifying a fuel cell reaction gas which is structured to efficiently electrolytically protecting the water tank for humidifying a fuel cell reaction gas incorporated in a polymer electrolyte fuel cell, and to make an anticorrosion electrode detect a water level in the water tank at the same time. <P>SOLUTION: In a fuel cell system composed by incorporating an anode-humidifying water tank 2 for humidifying a reform gas to supply it to the anode of a fuel cell 1, and a cathode-humidifying water tank 5 for humidifying air to supply it to the cathode of the fuel cell 1, an anticorrosion electrode 8 is attached to the anode-humidifying water tank 2, an anticorrosion electrode 9 is attached to the cathode-humidifying water tank 5, and electrolytic protection is carried out by carrying a protective current to each of the anode-humidifying water tank 2 and the cathode-humidifying water tank 5 through a control apparatus 10 by using the fuel cell 1 as a power source. By respectively attaching a plurality of the anticorrosion electrodes 8 and 9 to important points, they are made to detect the water levels of both the water tanks at the same time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
