<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To achieve hitless switching when changing the active system/standby system of a redundant optical transmission line by using an all optical cross connect. <P>SOLUTION: An optical cross connect 1 of the reception end of data traffic in an all optical network transmits a transmission stop request to an electric node 6 of the transmission source of the data traffic via a control network 100. The electric node 6 of the transmission source receiving the transmission stop request via the control network 100 stops the transmission of the data traffic, and transmits a transmission stop response to the optical cross connect 1 via the control network 100. The optical cross connect device 1 changes the transmission line between the active and standby systems in the all optical network, based on the reception of the transmission stop response via the control network 100. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
