<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a conductive roller that will not have the occurrence of runout due to distortion of a shaft, when it is manufactured by a tight-fitting method, and causing no problem on an image defect resulting from the runout thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The conductive roller 10 is equipped with the shaft 1 and a roller body 2 carried on the outer periphery of the shaft, and has an elastic layer 3 formed on the outer periphery of the roller body 2. The roller body principally has a resin material and a conductive agent. The inner surface 4 of a hole part for carrying the shaft of the roller body has ruggedeness, and the shaft and the roller body have a part 2A, where they do not come into contact with each other at least at a part in the longitudinal direction of the roller body, and come into contact with each other at least at both ends 2B in the longitudinal direction of the roller body. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
