<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a liquid crystal aberration correction element capable of performing sufficient aberration correction not only in a CD and a DVD but in a Blu-ray Disc and an HD-DVD. <P>SOLUTION: In the liquid crystal aberration correction element constituted by holding a liquid crystal layer between first and second transparent substrates on which first and second transparent conductive films are formed respectively, the first transparent conductive film has a plurality of lead out electrodes for supplying power from the outside and a first division electrode for correcting wavefront aberration of an optical beam, which is formed by a film thinner than that of the lead out electrode by the same material as that of the lead out electrode. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
