PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a drive force control device for vehicle including a means to perform gear-change control based on a driver's operation and a means to change a gear-change diagram of a transmission based on a driver's intention, in which the driver can more easily learn how much degree the operation is performed by him when the gear-change control is performed based on his operation. SOLUTION: The drive force control device includes the means to perform gear-change control based on the driver's operation (S6) and the means to change the gear-change diagram (S8) of the transmission based on the driver's intention (S1-Y). When the gear-change stage or gear-change ratio of the transmission is changed to the side lower than before the change (S7-N) due to the change of the gear-change diagram based on the driver's intention, the change of the gear-change diagram based on the driver's intention is forbidden.
