<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an internal combustion engine capable of improving accuracy in controlling the air-fuel ratio. <P>SOLUTION: This internal combustion engine 1 has an engine for generating motive power by burning an air-fuel mixture, a compressor 32 arranged on an intake passage 5 of the engine and a turbine 31 arranged on an exhaust passage 6 of the engine, and has a supercharger 3 for supercharging the engine by driving the compressor 32 by rotating the turbine 31 by exhaust gas passing through the exhaust passage 6. The internal combustion engine 1 has an upstream side air-fuel ratio sensor 71 arranged on the upstream side of the turbine 31 in the exhaust passage 6, and a bypass passage 62 arranged in the exhaust passage 6 and bypassing the turbine 31. The upstream side air-fuel ratio sensor 71 is arranged in a turbo-housing 34 storing the turbine 31 on the upstream side of an inlet part 621 of the bypass passage 62. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT</p> |
