PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method of a color image pickup device capable of reducing false color and manufacturing a high-resolution color image pickup device. SOLUTION: An array composite 204 performs sequencing so that there is an interval of one pixel between respective pixels indicated by an RR' random array pattern S21, performs sequencing so that there is an interval of one pixel between the respective pixels of a BB' random array pattern S22, performs the sequencing of the regular array of a GG' regular array pattern S23 in a checkered array, and composites them, thus generating a color filter pattern S10 that is a random array pattern partially.
