PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an optical fiber type sensor mat, using a hetero core type optical fiber, constituted to expand a measuring range, without affecting the outside, to function effectively. SOLUTION: In this optical fiber type sensor mat 1 enveloped watertightly with an elastic material along a vertical direction and over a periphery by a required plane dimension, and arranged with strain sensor main bodies 20 comprising the hetero core type optical fiber in its inside, the strain sensor bodies 20 are provided in a plurality of portions on the series of optical fibers, and are arranged to take a portion of a load area, is reception-supported by a sponge sheet 6 in an anti-load-acting side, and is layered with an elastic member while interposing a hard plane plate 10 to make received pressure act on the strain sensor body 20, in a load acting side.
