PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an agitator for restricting a temperature rise of a liquid caused by sound wave absorption, and an analyzer. SOLUTION: An agitator for agitating a liquid held in a container by means of sound wave and an analyzer are provided. This agitator 20 is equipped with a surface acoustic wave element 24 generating a sound wave to be applied to the liquid, and a drive control part 21 controlling the temperature of the liquid rising owing to the sound wave thereto applied by the surface acoustic wave element to be a prescribed temperature or less.
